Rhonda's famous Spinich Dip

 

Hot Spinich Dip
From: Rhonda Bumgardner
 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, thawed
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 small/medium onion, chopped
1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained & chopped
2 (10 oz.) cans diced tomatoes & green chiles, drained
2 teaspoons ground cumin (spice)
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
 
*Drain spinach; (Queeze with hands to remove excess moisture.) 
*Combine spinach, cream cheese, and remaining
ingredients, stirring well. Spoon mixture into a
greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake, uncovered
at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Serve with belba toast rounds, corn chips or tortilla chips/scoops. (8 cups yield)

Team Party

Our team party will be held at the Wrestling Complex on Friday, February 6th at 6:30.  We will eat and then give the awards out at the end.   Your wrestlers trophies have been paid for by the Takedown Club.  We will need a group of volunteers to help set up tables and decorations @ 5:00 on Friday.

Pictures/Team Party

We will be taking our team/individual pictures on Thursday 1/29/09.  Individual pictures will start at 5:15 and we will take the team picture around 6:15.  Wrestlers should wear their new shorts, t-shirts and hoodies to practice that day.

We are nearing the end of our regular season.  Our last team tournament will be Saturday 1/31/09 at  Paulding County. 

Our end of the season party will be scheduled soon after.  I have purchased team tropies for all of our kids.  In past years we have always had a really nice party for the kids.  I would like to do the same this year.
