To: All Parents and Players,

Yes, we are going to have our first fund raiser!!
Yes, it would be nice to have 100% participation!
Yes, it will be a good team building event. It is a lot of fun for the
boys!
Yes, the more people we get to come, the more money we will make and the
more fun it will be for the boys.

Here's the details.

When: October 12, 4:45pm to 8:00pm. The boys and 1 parent per family will
be asked to work a shift and then eat a shift.

Where: TNT Kitchen in Morrison

Details: Each family will need to sell a minimum of 20 tickets. Just
remember the more we sell the more money we earn.
The tickets are $8.00 a piece. This includes spaghetti dinner, two
meatballs, bread, salad. and bottomless soft drinks.
To go along with the dinner we will be having a bake sale. Each family will
be responsibel for pre-packaged baked goods. Or store bought. The last
time we did this fund raiser the bake sale earned $400 extra dollars, so if
is worth the effort.

As of now we have 2 weekends to make the sales. I will be passing our the
packets to the boys at Thursdays practice.

Also, I have talked to Coach Mike and practice that Thursday will be moved
to Wednesday. Mike will give us the details for that practice as it gets
closer.

I am sure I am forgetting something, so please e-mail be with any questions
or postive comments to help ensure a successful experience for the boys.

Rush Boys U12:

Great start to the season. After winning 3 in a row, including a 4-1 victory over Real, the boys played Storm Royal last week. Storm of course has an awfully good team and Storm came away with a 4-2 win. It should be mentioned that Rush went down 1-0, then took a 2-1 lead. At half time it was 2-2. The 2nd half saw Storm score the winning goal with less than 10 minutes remaining. Then they got one more. All told, the boys played well.

It should be noted that there was a collective sigh of relief heard throughout the Front Range from the Storm faithful.......

Well, it is that time of the year again. Since spring season concluded the boys have played in 3 tournaments and finished 2nd at Real Cup, 2nd at Rush Invite, 1st at the Pikes Peak Invitational. The Liverpool Camp was in the middle of the tournaments. Congrats on playing great soccer!

I will get to the schedules, etc. in the next few days.
