Just a day at the beach

The Blue sharks came to play.

Assists - Delaney (2), Gillian, Katie S.,Olivia,Megan,and Kelsey (2)

Goals - Kelsey, Olivia (2), Randy, Anna, Haley.

But that tells only part of the story. Our defense was very solid, and our Midfielders dictated play all day.

Our keeper played great. Rachel continues to elevate her game.

I know that wins and losses are secondary to us getting better for this fall, but to come away with a win and a draw against these two teams says a lot about our young ladies.

If we had not stopped to watch the lighting we would have had two wins.

Well done everyone

A happy Mother's Day

The Bluesharks made a statement on Sunday with a very good win against a very talented team. The Bath clippers Storm is a team made of varsity players from Bath and Mt Ararat high. With a very tight defense and an opportunistic offense, the girls gave their moms a victory. It made sitting in a light rain less uncomfortable. Great game everyone!

What a great bunch of Parents

I look around at the young ladies who are playing soccer on OOB and I am just amazed what a great bunch of kids they are.

But since I sent out the email asking for help, I realize again that it is by no accident.

Karen says she will be the treasurer, and Kevin will help with the field.

We have a bunch of parents who work their butts off for the kids in this town.

One day I am sure the kids will even notice.

Ross is on board!

And back for his 20th season (must be close). Ross will be coaching the girls this spring.

Not many teams can boast 2 coaches of Ross and J.J.'s experience.

Our town is really lucky!

J.J. is on board!

It is very cool that J.J. Twohig (Amy's dad), will be coaching the team this spring.  He is not concerned at all with the large roster, and shares my belief that we must keep as many girls in the sport learning the game as possible.

Pinetree league info

Not exactly soccer weather out today, but....

I dropped off the team registration this morning to Soccer Maine.

I am so thrilled by the interest to play this spring. It is going to be a great time for our girls to get to know each other on and off the pitch a little better before our fall season. I know it is an unusually large roster, but the chances of every player making every game is slim. The girls that play together learn together.

I will not be at some of the games, because of Anna's metro commitment.

I would like some volunteers this year to help.

I am looking for a treasurer, to collect the money and pay the refs, and the Assignor, and purchase the field supplies.

I would like someone to help with the lining of the field prior to the games.

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Please let me know when you have registered, or if you are not playing.

Below is the fee and game schedule.

If anybody has any questions, just reply to me or call. 423.6300
