Welcome to the SandinSkateClub2 Homepage

Longboard skateboards are not the safest toys you can give your child but it can be very enjoyable once you teach him how proper ways to skate safe and reminding him to always wear proper kids skateboard gear every time he rides his skateboard. These are protective gears that must be worn on different parts of the body. These gears include a helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards and knee pads. You have to make sure these gears fit properly and are always in good condition. Thanks to hometeams for the info.

A helmet can significantly reduce your child’s chance of a head injury from skateboard accident. As such, it is advisable to remember some things when wearing a helmet. Helmets should not interfere or restrict your child’s vision, as well as his hearing. A properly fitted helmet will avoid this. When worn, a helmet should be level on the top of the head, about two finger widths just above the eyebrows. Ensure that the strap is buckled under the chin.
