On Thursday, October 11, 2007 over 100 people were on hand to help us officially open the Bill McNamara Wrestling Room. Coach Mac is the founding coach of our club and was our mentor for over 30 years. We are pleased to dedicate our updated facility in his name.

On October 27 we hosted Ray Takahashi and several members of the UWO team for a free clinic in the Bill McNamara Wrestling Room at SCITS. About 30 area wrestlers took the opportunity to learn from this three time Olympian. Current National Team member Katie Patrock also was there to teach these young grapplers.
Overall, it was a great way to kick off our year.
